Canadian 1989 Gt Cobra ????

so does anyone know if this thing is legit? car is clean but with cobra on it i expected something more then just a cheesey sticker.

were regular mustang GT's named cobra in canada like the one poster says??

1989 1/2 Mustang .. 25th Anniversary... i purchased it in 91 from a lady and put it away in 92... 10+ years ago i took it out of storage and brought it to Michigan where it sat until this past weekend ... 49000 Kilometers ...
NOT sure what i want to do with it ... BUT i will consider a trade .. trade + cash for the right car ... Must be a factory 340 car ... DEMON, DUSTER, DART ... Thanks !

Never seen a Canadian cobra what is Cobra about it? Special engine? Suspension? Brakes? Clean standard low mile gt fox body isn't worth that but besides the $10 vinyl sticker what makes it special?

Never mind all Mustang GT's sold in canada were labeled Cobra GT from the factory to distinguish them from their american counterparts so there is no mechanical differences between the "cobra" and an american GT at all so your car is priced extremely high but good luck with your sale.

Yes the poster is correct, Cobra name was used in Canada

If i had a dollar for every time i've seen this question posted over the years i've been on this forum, i could probably buy everyone in this thread lunch at least twice.

Damn Ford all to hell for doing such a stupid stupid thing too. What were they thinking? Apparently they were thinking Canadians are dumb enough to buy one based on the added sticker alone without having added any performance to the GT at all.
