I just recently finshed the install of my S/C 331 and started it, however I am having some tuning issues regarding the A/F ratio. The "wonderful" 
Auto Meter A/F gauge says I am lean at idle and RPM with 40 PSI, an in-tank 255LPH pump and 42# injectors with matching C&L Mass Air.
Just yesterday I pulled the motor out of the car again to replace the oil pan and noticed that the exhaust ports on the headers have a fair amount of carbon buildup. I haven't been running the engine that much due to the tuning issues, but was curious if carbon buildup is normal or not?
