CBR 600RR 600 mile service

this is probably not the right forum for this thread, but lets give it a try anyways. does anybody know what this 600 mile service involves?? the dealer wants to charge me $200 to do this service. i know it involves changing the oil and probably some kind of tuning. what im trying to get at is, do you think i can handle this myself being that this is my first bike. any good write-ups?? thanks guys!!

I have the 1000rr and all they did was change the oil and check over everything for loose bolts chain etc.

prob not the same, but on my ATV's, the first 40hr service involved checking the valves Seems it was common that they often had to be reset
