I plan on changing the trans in the springtime,from a auto to a four speed.
Do you think I can still use my center console?

The MII full console is the same for either. The chromed plastic trim bezel is different, but it just comes out. If you have an auto now, your bezel has a larger opening, so you could just keep that one if you wanted. The 4 speed bezel just has a round hole in it for the OEM shifter boot as opposed to the automatic's rectangle opening.
