Okay, so I was tinkering with my fogs the other day, and found that the passenger side fog pig tail had corroded. In an attempt to salvage it by scraping out the corrosion, the contact came with it. FML, right?
Anywho, I went to Autozone today, and picked up what I thought was the exact same pigtail.
I was wrong.
It's for a socket 9005 lightbulb.
My question is, can I use that pigtail without any damages to the fog housing? What's so different between an 899 lightbulb and a 9005 lightbulb?
