my car has been leaking small amounts of oil since i got it, the ford dealer told me that its the valve cover gaskets, so i am going to change them today.

any tips or advice on doing this? i plan on just removing the upper intake to get to them...

ditch the cork and get the nice blue rubber reusable gaskets. they cost 20$ but they ARE WORTH IT

dont waste time with cork. you'll end up taking the stuff back apart to change the gaskets again before too long

they should be able to order them in.

my local oreilys had the corkers. had to order in the blue rubbers.

may take a day or two to get them in but you will thank us later.

they seal much better and are reusable for a long time.

coolant runs thro the egr spacer thru those to rubber hoses. its normal dont worry about it.

and also u dont need to take the TB off the upper to get it off. i just leave the TB on when i remove the upper intake
