I was also thinking of putting some roller tip rockers in also just standard 1.6 I'm not real sure if just porting and polishing the heads and a camshaft is going to net me another 40rwhp or not, not real sure how much power roller rockers will free up
In all honesty, if it were me, I'd put the money into a good set of aluminum heads, over a camshaft and rockers at this point. Actually, if it were me, I'd do all three....but you may not have the budget to play with?
Still though, there's no better excuse to change the heads than when you've got them off. Even the most wildly ported stock heads can't match the performance potential of any of the out of the box aluminum units. A good set of GT40X, Edelbrock Performer/Performer RPM, AFR 165's or Trick Flow 170's will probably get you closer to your goal and make power over a broader range than a camshaft swap at this point.
Also, not sure which manifold you've got (stock, or GT40 based) but that's going to be your real limiting factor after the heads. Its really too bad Kenne Bell didn't design these kits to be used with a better flowing lower manifold. If you've got the stock lower on there, I'd say save your money and put it back together the way it is....even ported, the stocker couldn't possibly keep up to the airflow demands of the blower, a good flowing set of head, or camshaft for that matter. The GT40 lower is better, but not by leaps and bounds. A head upgrade would help, but there's really no need to go any bigger than the heads quoted above, or a the camshaft you're looking at....because the lower manifold will never support airflow anyway.
