Click On Right Side Front Tire

  1. Recently changed tie rods, struts, shocks and rotated tires on 2001 gt. Now started hearing a clicking sound when wheel is turned to righ. Checked ball joints ant the covers a pretty much gone. Question I have is do I have to lower springs or remove struts to change ball joints? First mustang

  2. OK. I did get the ball joints changed out, but still getting the clicking sound on the right when backing outand the wheel turned left or turning a corner and wheel turned right. Any ideas?

  3. Jack it up a tad, take a prybar of some kind, put it under the wheel while its off the ground and lift. Does it have any give?

  4. With new ball joints, my vote is bad/worn wheel bearings. Not a difficult fix on the Mustang.

  5. No give up and down or in/out.

  6. On the wheel bearings is there a way to check it? It also makes a faint clicking sound when driving that sounds a little like a baseball card in a bicycle tire. Sorry for the delay, but being Active Duty Mil slows down my Mustang play time
