Im in the process of converting an auto 90 lx 2.3 to a 5spd 5.0 and my donor car is a 86 GT. My question is, will the clutch/brake assembly from the 86 work in the 90 or do i have to get one from a 87-93 stang? let me know , thanks

It should work just fine. As you know, many of the basic parts are the same across years, and if you are getting the drivetrain from the 86, then the pedals should work OK.

It'll work, but you might not have the clutch neutral safety switch or cruise control switches. It will fit, though.
