clutch fork

I wouldnt try it. I would just get a new one. I dont think mine was $50 when I got it(thru Ford). I wouldn't risk trying to fix it and having it break and cause you problems later. Then you'd have to tear everything back apart so you can swap the fork. I would just get a new fork and be safe.

Well, got to looking in the transmission today and some input shaft teeth on the first gear are missing and the first gear on the bottom below the input shaft has teeth missing. A buddy was bringing my car to me when this happened. He says he was driving normal. I'm wondering how hard it is to chip the teeth on an input shaft?

i wouldn't let my buddy drive my car anymore....unless he was just grinding the hell out of it. Or mybe he didn't have it all the way into gear and stomped it, had it happen to me, sounded like the damn tranny fell out from under the car, tore second to hell to. Never had that kind of stuff happen to me during normal driving...
