Clutch Noises

For the last three weeks strange noises have been emanating from my clutch. When I would push my clutch in the slightest bit I could hear a squeaking/squealing. As time went on whenever I shifted gears the clutch felt a little rough and now last night I can hear more of a faint grinding when I shift gears. The grinding occurs both when I press the clutch all the way down, and then when I let it all the way back up. I'm wondering what is causing this problem, and what will come next if I don't fix the problem in time.

Your TOB might be about to disintegrate. This could affect disengagement or there's a separate clutch adjustment issue. Optimal clutch adjustment is generally with zero lash in the cable or a slight preload (to hold the TOB to the diaphram fingers).

Good luck.
