Drivetrain Clutch Questions

I have a '94 5L/5spd... The clutch is shot... My friend has a '97 3.8L/5spd car that was totaled last year.

I had just put a brand new clutch in her 3.8L three months before it was hit... I can have the clutch set out of it, but I need to know if there are any significant differences that would cause problems using the v6 clutch in my 5L...

This will save me a significant amount of money and really need to swap the clutch ASAP.

The v6 clutch is 11", the 5.0 takes a 10.5" clutch. So it's not going to work. To make it fit you'd need to bring the bellhousing and flywheel (maybe the starter) over from the v6, and unfortunately from what I've read the flywheel balance is wrong for the v8. You could theoretically get a 50oz imbalance 11" flywheel but that's probably more expensive than getting a new clutch kit. Which might just be a whole lot easier than pulling apart another car.
