Coating for '65 Shelby (Street) Cragars

Hi, I have new reproduction '65 GT350 wheels (cast aluminum center, steel rim) I bought from Branda for my '65 Clone. Anyone using these wheels? I'm wondering if I should coat them with a clearcoat or something to protect them...do you recommend anything for these wheels? I've done a search on wheel coatings relating to other wheels, but I don't know if I should treat these differently because of the cast centers. Thanks!

If you want to protect them then spray on some clear coat, even on the cast centers, then go to the back of wheel and spray that also as this will seal out all moisture, Do this on a worm very low humidity day
P.S. of course you clean them up first, oh and NO SILICONE PRODUCTS.
