I have the option to purchase one of the two intake manifolds. I have two quick questions:

1- The person selling the cobra intake manifold says that it has the cobra etched into the manifold and that it is not a plate (like all of the ones that I have seen). Is this really a cobra intake manifold or am I been taken? I have asked for the casting number on the manifold to check it with the ones from the cobra intakes.

2 - I can pick either of these two manifolds up for the same price. What would work best for my car. I have a full exhaust done with headers, cold air intake, throttle body (70mm), under drives and 3:73's. I do not plan on changing the heads. I have heard that you should not change the cam unless you change the heads. If this is true I will not touch the cam.

    Any input would be great!

Well 94-95 Cobra intakes have Cobra cast into the intake. They also have the angles throttle neck though so you woudn't want this version

For what it is worth, the guy selling the intake said he had it on his old 88' fox body. If it did have the angled throttle neck would it still work on my 91 vert?

You really aren't going to get much out of either intake if you are rocking stock heads. The most benefit is to do it along with heads and a cam.
