Well finally figured it out, my car was coming up with code 34 and the idle was up and down. Then it started with a code 31 and 66 it turned out to be the tabs on the maf plug were broke and the plug was coming off. I took some wire ties and fasten it back on and replaced the egr valve and all is well again. The funny thing is it was still setting the 34 code with new egr valve
it did not stop until I fasten the plug better on the maf.....go figure
