Coil over kits

I got a DnD coil over kit last january, and recently picked up some bilstien struts, shouldnt these two go together just fine? The sleeve for the coil over kit is about 1/4 of an inch larger in diamater than the strut itself.

Any ideas?

Bilstien struts are thicker than standards. MM sells a different kit for Bilstien struts because of this.

You mean thinner correct? My struts are smaller than the sleeves.
