colder range plugs, need help

hey i heard someone talking about getting colder range spark plugs if you are running a power adder, is that because forced air induction will blow out the spark easier? whats the general rule about dif ranges when dealing with power adders also? and gapping, whats the rule with that, i swear .035 sounds familiar.
