Has anyone used this before? I know many rave about the Porter Cable Dual Action Polisher but Im wondering how good the Coleman is. It has a 2580 RPM motor. I want something where there is no chance of burning through the clearcoat, so would this be a good choice or just stick with the Porter Cable?

The Porter Cable dual action polisher is still going to be far more effective. The Porter Cable ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT BURN PAINT!!!!!! It has the same sort of action as a random orbital but, it is capable of higher speeds. The action of the pad makes it so that it is never in one place long enough to build up any heat even if you run the machine in one spot at its highest setting. It is well worth the cost.

I would like to purchase the Porter Cable polisher, can you find these at local auto stores or do they have to be oredered somewhere? I have a 10'' orbital buffer, but am interested in the PC. Thanks
