A few months back I posted about painting my garage floor:

Well since that project went well I decided to go on and take my garage one step further. I didn't like all the noise that my compressor made while I was working so I decided to keep it as far away from me as possible.
My solution was to run PVC piping throughout my garage. It took me about 3 days to finish it. I only worked on it for a couple of hours each night so it could be done easily in a day. I think I spent about $200 for everything (all the quick disconnects, pipe connections, tools, etc) That does not count the cost of the air compressor. I had a bigger one in mind but Sears couldn't get my order right and took freakin' for ever. To make a long story shorter, I got my folk's old compressor. It should work fine for what I need one for.
Anyway, here is the write-up:

Enjoy! The next project I've got in mind is a lift. Hopefully I can get one ordered and installed without the wife noticing. We will see! Remember it is always easier to get forgiveness than permission...
