I have my timing at *10, I fixed the TPS and I still pop and stutter accellerating at WOT in 3rd with an LB3 around 5000rpm. I think it's the timing so I'll turn it down again. My question is after it stumbled I let off and went easy, then 5 mintues later I accelerated hard in 3rd up a hill and let off at 4000rpm and I looked back and saw a small cloud of blue or white smoke.
This cloud came from the turbo didn't it? :(

Well we experimented today and I had the VAM turned on its side so the door swung up and back, the sensor was on the right side facing the front of the car.I moved it back to being flat and my pop has almost gone and went higher in the rpm range. Now it's near 5500rpm.

The last time it stuttered like this I had a hole in the hose the runs from the turbo the the throttle body. It would stutter bad at 3000rpm from too much fuel. Now I know it isn't a leak because I get the same vacuum I had before the problem started. I think I need to adjust the VAM. Do I tighten or loosen the spring?
