    Nah,

It's been done. Just making 4 psi of boost will make the guy happy. A good tune and he will not have any problems. Intercooled the KB is the coldest running blower in the business.
NO need to dump any extra timimg in the thing because you don't need to.

I went from 278rwhp with saleen blower to 433rwhp by just swapping the 9psi KB blower... Think about it !

    00s281sc368 ,

you are saying you only had 278rwhp with the stock saleen blower? why do people say it has 340 rwhp?

the older extreme's only pulled 350rwhp.

Im with marcus, except im not a fan of KB's anymore since i've had 2 friends go through 5 blowers in a matter combined total of 4000 miles. ALl of them were the so called "fixed" ones that took care of the oil leaking issue.

Stock saleen with 4.10's, Vortech or Paxton at 8psi, 42's, Lightning MAF, cobra tanke and pumps....probably net you the same hp as a KB, but from what i've seen, far more reliable.

Im not taking anything from KB, just my personal friends experiences with them have been nothing short of awful, while my vortech experience was nothing short of greatness. THe KB will make a better street car, but at the same time, a street car has to be reliable.

I do totally agree with a non s/c car and adding what you want, just pick what blower you want wisely, and research the heck out of everyone before you purchase.

A guy locally here in Virginia Beach. His post name is "WIKDSVT". He does just as good of work as Steigmeier Porting, but for less money.

Me personally i can't see owning a 4v car and going to a 2v for any reason.
Look for a guy selling a cobra saleen, obviously it's going to cost more money but IMO it's worth it.
I could however see myself in an 05+ 3v.

    I know, I own 2 gts a 92 and a 90, and a 93 4 banger. I just think the 99-04 saleen looks sweet, I don't race just cruise and enjoy the ride.

    The 00 saleen was (over)rated 350HP stock, but 278rwhp is about 320HP...
