hey question for you guys
my mom got her 97 mitsubishi mirage hit buy a plow man and we gave him the estimate like he asked for ...
the damage was a large gash on the siding of the car
(that part of the car is about half the side of the car)
well the estimate she got was about 500 bux and she opted to bondo the car or what ever instead of getting the new oem mitsubishi part that i assume would be in the 700+ ballpark range
well with that he said its to high and he wanted a few more estimates....
if anything shouldnt it have been 3 times higher? because personaly i would have gone with the oem part, a new paint job, and a very reputable shop where everything would have been done right
he dosnt understand that my mom works 24/7 and it took her 2 months to get the first estimate (and she didnt even include the rental car for the 2 days it would be out!)
