Dash Lights don't work

okay, wierdest thing happened tonigh. i went over a large bump in the gas staion parking lot and suddenly all my dash lights turned off. Its not the fuse because my headlights, tailights, everything else works. The gauges all work too. Just not the lights. Anybody know what this could be?

The gauge lights and other items which are dimmed are on their own fuse - fuse 13. Check it first.

Otherwise, the pull the switch and see if a wire backed out of the connector.

All that above, plus work the dimmer rheostat. Work it back and forth, over and over. Mine quit too and after about 20 times it started again. This is typical of dimmers in all cars.

Excellent! Thank you guys! I looked at the list of fuses till #4 and saw 'gauge illumination', then stopped. Guess I should've kept going lol.
