This is unbelievable. It looks like we can chalk up ANOTHER case of voter fraud to the Democrats and their ridiculous little special interest groups. :rlaugh:

ACORN, from what I'm gathering, is a radical and brutish group who tries to BULLY their views on to other people/businesses. Apparently, ACORN is one of the groups RESPONSIBLE for the mortgage crisis we're in, because they specialize in blackmailing banks in an effort to get them to take on "high-risk" loans.

I talked to a woman the other day who used to work at a bank, and she said that she was working one day, when ACORN decided to come in and pay them (the bank) a visit.

The group (ACORN) came in and started knocking things over and banging their fists on the counter DEMANDING that the bank do whatever it is that they were asking it to do. She said that SHE was scared, and by the looks on the customers' faces, THEY were scared to. People turned around and HURRIED out of the bank in fear that they would be physically assaulted.

    That's absolutely ridiculous!

But to make matters WORSE...it appears that they are ALSO trying to steal the election in favor of BARACK OBAMA! What a bunch of fruitcakes...

Greenlining is indeed another liberal group responsible for the mortgage meltdown...but they're not responsible for voter fraud, are they?

    Blagh.

After you'll brought up Acorn I did looked into the group further. From what I read they are a very large and respected organization that does a lot of good across the country.

However, they have some problems. I think their activities and actions across the country should scrutinized. If they are guilty of voter fraud, or knowingly promoting voter fraud then they should be heavily fined and those involved should be prosecuted. Further if they are strong arming banks they should also be fined and those involved should face extortion charges.

I am serious. I'll find the links for you later.

Maybe I did understate the problems, but I repeat that Acorn should be scrutinized and where there are illegal activities going on then they should be stopped and the organization should be fined.

Some factions of street gangs do community service. Should they be fined and scrutinized? Or locked up for dealing drugs, racketeering, murder, etc.

Cmon, you can admit it Kelly. If either of these groups were involved with McCain or the repubs, you'd be posting about how you almost trusted/voted for McCain but now you're not sure about them anymore.

Looks like investigations are going to take place. Even if it were to help the republicans, and you know I don't want to do that, I am for throwing out all questionable voter registration cards collected by ACORN. If it looks like a major trend then I demand that ACORN top level managers be held accountable.

ACORN respectable? this organization who hires convicted felons, many of whom were convicted of identity theft, to process voter registrations? dont get me wrong, once someone has done their time, they should have a chance to redeem themselves in society, and many have skills to do just that. however you dont put someone convicted of embezzelment in a position where they come in contact with large sums of money, and you certainly dont put people who have been convicted of identity theft and fraud in a position where they can continue those activities. ACORN has been investigates many times over the years for a variety of things, including voter fraud, and they have had many of their people convicted of voter fraud and other things. sorry kelly but this organization is a gang of thugs who use intimidation and fraud to get what they want.

If it can be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that 10% are fraudulent voter cards, how many more are suspicious and didn't get caught?

kelly, i will agree that ACORN at one time was a fine organization with noble intent. however like most activist organizations the leadership changed and became more militant and that is where the problems started.

McCain thinks Obama should apologize for associating with a criminal extremist. To which Obama might reply: After you.
How close are McCain and Liddy? At least as close as Obama and Ayers appear to be. In 1998, Liddy's home was the site of a McCain fundraiser. Over the years, he has made at least four contributions totaling $5,000 to the senator's campaigns -- including $1,000 this year.
Last November, McCain went on his radio show. Liddy greeted him as "an old friend," and McCain sounded like one. "I'm proud of you, I'm proud of your family," he gushed. "It's always a pleasure for me to come on your program, Gordon, and congratulations on your continued success and adherence to the principles and philosophies that keep our nation great."
which principles would those be? The ones that told Liddy it was fine to break into the office of the Democratic National Committee to plant bugs and photograph documents? The ones that made him propose to kidnap anti-war activists so they couldn't disrupt the 1972 Republican National Convention? The ones that inspired him to plan the murder (never carried out) of an unfriendly newspaper columnist?
Liddy was in the thick of the biggest political scandal in American history -- and one of the greatest threats to the rule of law. He has said he has no regrets about what he did, insisting that he went to jail as "a prisoner of war."-- Pot-kettle-black
