Door Handle Insert Won't Snap Into Place

On my 04 Mach which I just bought, the pass side interior door handle insert is loose, the top tab, where the screwdriver slot is, won't snap into place. Any tips? I've tried wiggling the bottom and pushing really hard on the top part.

I think I know what your talking about. Its a plastic tab right.......
Try heating it up with a lighter (careful not to catch fire) slightly bend it to
where it will stay put.
