Drag strip - traction control on or off ?

Going to the drag strip with an 05gt with Saleen supercharger and street radials Nitto 275/50/r17. Do I leave traction control on or off ?
Could someone explain how the traction control works.

Off...most certainly off! That is of course unless you're an absolutely horrible driver and can’t help but blow the tires off in every gear.

The T/C comes on by cutting spark and applying brakes to the slipping wheel(s). Great for driving in the rain and sometimes the snow, but not exactly ideal for drag racing. The system is sound, but doesn't recover quickly enough to nail down any decent trap times.
