Dyno #'s 347

Just got an e-mail from the company that is tuning my car.
With a fairly conservative tune and 93 octane pump gas the car pulled
381 RWHP and 362 ft.lbs TQ SAE adjusted.
The Tuner states that the "car starts very easily.
Pulls away from stop lights smoothly and cruises around town very nicely".
(I was a little concerned with the Vic jr. single plane intake
and fairly aggresive cam.)
He also states that the car pulls all the way to the 6500 RPM redline!
I am very pleased.. :nice:
This is the FRPP M6007 C347 crate engine.
The car has a Holley 750 DP with Mech. secondaries,FPA headers with a Magnaflow 2.5" S.S.exhaust system. G Force T5 trans with a Ford 9" w/3.73's
Ford advertises 450 FWHP and 400 TQ.
Numbers sound right on the money for a manual trans.
I will post my driving impressions and the dyno graph as soon as I get a chance..

Real nice numbers. I'd be curious about your vacuum at idle for power brakes. I went one step too far with the cam and got killer power but am left with 9.5 inches at idle and crummy power assist now.

I will see if I can get that number.. My car has manual disc brakes and no power steering.

Nice numbers. You are going to have a blast.

I don't know what fuel lines you are running, but if they are stock 5/16 you might want to upgrade to 3/8 lines. I used 68 CobraJet lines and adapted then to my '66. Fitment was pretty good. I also bought a 3/8 sender for the tank from NPD. Incidentally, for '67 the Feds required Ford to change fuel routing for safety reasons. Ford moved the lines from the trans tunnel to the frame rail. Something to consider ....
