Electric Convertible Roof Repair

It doesn't go up and down on its own as of recently...I just replaced it too. I hear the gears but I have to manually put it up half way then it collapses.
Putting the roof up requires 2 people...annoyed.

Im in orlando Florida any suggestions on where to take it to fix please? My warranty is garbage so I have to bring cash.

If you can not DIY, You are going have to find an upholstery shop or private shop with some experience and a better than stealer ship price. Word of mouth from the locals is the best way to find a good, little shop.

It seems like a used or rebuilt top tranny is in order. What year/ model are we talking about?
