Electric Fan Question

Is the Electric Fan in the 4 cylinder and 5.0L the same? Or is did the 5.0L have a higher flowing electric fan? I have a 89 lincoln town car and i want to convert my Accessory Drive Fan to an Electric, to reduce engine drag and increase power, every small increase counts... Anyways i was wondering if i goto my Junkyard and grab a fan off a 4cyl will it cool my 302 efficiently? its not a H.O. but i plan on doing some mods in the future. Thanks alot guys.

I wasn't aware the 4 cylinder motors have elctric fans, just go with a markIV fan, go to a junkyard and get one offa mark IV, that'll cool it right down. I don't think the 4cyl engine will have enough cooling power and will be on all the time.

the 4 cylinder fan dosen't have near the cooling power of the v-8 in fact my 4 cylinder would come close to overheating until i put in a v-8 radiator and a flexolite fan. I transfered the set up to my new 93 5.0 lx. Call up flexolite if you want a new fan. pretty clean set up.
