I have a Holley Blue electric fuel pump wired in with a 7.5A fuse per the instructions. After replacing that fuse about 7 times I got sick of it and wired it straight in on a toggle.
Heres the weird part. For the past 2 mornings on the way to work it blows the fuse at the same place at the same time. Its goes from sounding fine (you know how loud Holley pumps are) to getting quieter and quieter and then blows the fuse
Well, this morning it did the same thing...same time and place...pump gets quieter and quieter and then quit even though it is no longer on a fuse. Luckily I was able to coast into a parking lot. I let it sit for a few minutes and it started running again
When its running it runs fine I just dont get it. Is the pump going out (its maybe 4 months old)
any ideas?
thanks
