Engine Bay painted, thanks ZK and all

I posted a thread a while back about how to physically paint an engine bay, being somewhat vertically challenged I painted the bottom 3/4 laying on a creeper.

Thanks to all that gave suggestions, and especially Zookeeper for showing his color transition points. I wanted the bay body color but not the wheel wells or bottom of the car so I was stuggling with where to break off, I love this.

Thanks guys. To me a painted engine bay looks so much nicer, even if it may not be as practical as it will show dirt and grease easier. The color is a bit of a custom mix, I bought the Ford candy apple red but I found it a bit on the dark side, bordering on burgandy so I mixed close to a quart of red toner, (actually more than a quart once I added the balancer and binder) to the paint and it looks more red now. The first pic has the garage door open so that's closer to what the color really looks like. It looks more orange under the lights and the camera seems to exagerate that as well.
