Engine Runs Hotter???

Does a Supercharger make your engine bay Hotter....like....dramatically hotter....or is that a sign of a problem?
I did a search...didn't come up with anything

they can run hotter because of the increased latent heat from the blower case as well as the increased inlet temperature. usually upgrading to a larger or more efficient radiator with a lower temp t-stat is a good idea. but definately make sure your motor is in proper running condition.

In a word, yes. Especially in the case of a positive displacment blower like an Eaton or a KB.

sure it makes the engine bay temps hotter, which is normal for most(if not all) forced induction apparatus'.

though if you coolant/oil temps are alot hotter as well, than that would be something to look into.
