In my friends 96 cobra the engine makes a tapping noise, it sounds like its coming from above the rear of the passenger side head area. It doesnt sound like its coming from the bottom end. And doesnt sounds like rod knock either because it is definately coming from that head area. The noise only happens at idle and around 2500 rpm but then goes away again. What is going on with his cobra. Thanks for your help.
