Hey guys just wanted to say hi to all the stangers in Europe. I asked the moderators to help set up this forum so that we can talk to fellow stangers a little closer to home.. if your from the UK (molesworth, alconbury, mildenhall, lakenheath,etc,..) hit me up and we can organize a cruise or something!
:SNSign: awesome, teh brit section!!!! if ya organise a road trip around the manchester area can i come too??? i dont have a stang but would love to take a ride in one
its possible but i know that most of the military bases are atleast 4 hours south of you and they are the majority of mustang owners in the UK...
ahh dammit i only seen like 5 mustangs nevermind rode in one... i would love it if it can be possible
well if you are ever down by peterborough or Cambridge be sure to hit me up. I have no problem taking you for a test drive... ill be here another year and a half.. Here are a few pics of my stang...
Nice ride! How do you work out the left side wheel over there? I thought all the cars over there had to have the wheel on the left side? Just curious...
It actually took me about a day or two to get used to driving on the wrong side of the road but being over here for 2 years its second nature.. i actually went home on leave in September and caught myself driving on the right side of the road.. but seriously the only problems with driving on the other side of the road is passing trucks and stuff because you cant see around them until you actually drive in the opposite lane and hope that there isnt anything coming!
Its actually a V6 but it has every bolton that they make for the sixer without throwing a blower or nitrous on it... lets see... 56mm BBK Throttle Body PRO-M Bullitt 75mm MAF SuperChips Custom Tuned Chip 24lb Injectors BBK Billet U/D pulleys MSD DIS-4+ Ignition Ford Racing Spark Plug Wires Steeda Tri-Ax Short Throw Shifter 3.73 Gears World Class T-5 Transmission Ford Racing Aluminum Driveshaft Custom Made Rear Seat Delete Kit Roll Control Kit MAC Cold Air Intake Steeda Sport Springs Tokico Illumina Shocks and Struts 2.5" True Dual Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust MAC Long Tube Headers MAC O/R LT H-Pipe And a Few more Pics....
Hello there! I'm a Brit, and my job takes me to RAF Lakenheath and RAF Mildenhall regularly. One day, my Stang will be mobile, and I'd love to take it 'home'... In the four years I've been going there, I've only ever seen one red 65 convertible, no other 'stangs at all...
At those bases??? wow i see stangs there all the time when i have to go up there for one reason or another... i know there are about 10 or so on RAF Molesworth and a few on RAF Alconbury..
lol ok ok PCS is Permanent Change of Station... ETS is Estimated Time in Service.. basically your PCS date is the date that you should report to the next duty assignment. ETS date is the date when you leave the military...
Next time you're at the Taco Bell at Lakenheath, think of me - I did the electrical design for that building, the Missile Checkout Facility out on the flightline, and the new SMCF. blah blah blah yawn yawn. The best place to spot American cars is on a one mile radius of the bases, where they've run out of gas, trying to get back without filling up at UK prices.
