This has been an ongoing problem now for quite some time. The car runs great but almost everytime I am pulling into a parking spot (low idle, braking to a stop), the idle drops below 500 for a second and of course the voltmeter takes a dive as well. I'm wondering if, since the brakes are vacuum assisted, this is a vacuum related. Would a decrease in vacuum at low idle directly or indirectly affect the electrical system?

Thanks

Try raising your idle up a little bit. I couldnt get my car to idle worth $hit before, now its pretty steady at 900rpm. On your throttle body there will be a little rubber cap next to the IAC sensor, remove that cap and back out that screw a little until your car starts to idle better.

This helped me out and now my car doesnt stall anymore.

Could be a vacuum leak. It's almost 10 years. Time to buy some vacuum lines and change all the old ones out. I bought 2 foot of 1/4 inch up to 5/8th inch hoses and went to town. I was suprised what came off the car.
