Exhaust Exhaust hanging help

I am in the process of installing a Dyna Max dual exhaust system on my 69 from the headers back. I am trying to determine exactly where the H pipe should be positioned, forward and aft. Or should I start from exhaust pipes forward and see where I ends up. I would also like to know where the hangars bolt.

the h pipe or cross over is usualy right behind the manifolds or headers. the Mach 1s have a hainger right below the back seat on either side and on the rear frame rails just in front of the rear shackles .i am going with spin techs and mounting them with factory haingers on my 69, it is a Mach 1 so the factory duel exhaust haingers will be perfect.
 
I always start from the front and work my way back. The factory hangers attach to the rear of the mufflers and on the body in the same vicinity as the seat belt anchors. See photo:

The other set of hangers attach to the tailpipes and the inboard sides of the rear subframe rails just ahead of the leaf spring hangers. See photo:
