if you're gonna keep the wing i think you should at least get the cobra-r bumper.

Very nice sounding clean car. Not a fan of wing that tall on our cars.

car looks great except for that wing, i sure hope your getting functionality out of it, IMO the stock wing or a saleen wing would look gorgeous. But the car looks great, i love every other aspect!

Honestly ... I think the car is immaculate .... aside from the '00 R wing.

You said you needed it for downforce .... did you ever consider the Steeda race wing?

That race wing is the same height as the 00 Cobra R wing, just made for a 05.

My Dad has the shorter Steeda wing on his car which I REALLY like, but I didn't want to be exactly like him... I may put the Steeda on anyhow, we'll see how it does on track compared to his.

And thanks to all others who commented. Sounds like the R ain't too popular with youall :D I'll probably switch it out for a Steeda like Dads maybe next summer.. or maybe a Saleen S351 single-deck to be slightly different.

Like usual I'll be the outcast. I think you car looks sweet. If you need the wig for downforce or hell even if you like the looks of it yourself don't change it just cause everybody on here says its ugly. If I listened to people on here my car would have been repainted red or black so its stock and like everybody else. Individuality brother stick with what you like and **** everybody else :D

At what speeds does downforce actually become critical?

Haha, yeah. I just like changing the looks occasionally too, so that wing won't be there all the time. :)

And I'm not sure what speeds the downforce becomes critical, I have read a lot of reviews on cars, and how much their big wings helped them on the roadcourse... I have yet to take it on track (Will be doing so this spring)

But that's why a lot of roadcourse cars look like this (And everyone thought III was on the extreme side ;))->

I'm usually not a fan of the 00 R wing, but for some reason. its not too bad on your car. I kinda like it. Plus you have a purpose for it, which makes it 10x better. You wouldn't happen to have more pics of Jeff Lacina's car would you. Post em.
