Finding out your gear ratio..

Can someone tell me how to find out? I know theres a couple ways of doing it.. I know i went to a site a while ago and it told you what setup you had by what speed you were going at, at a certain RPM in a certain gear.. can somone give me that info? thnx

yea i know of that way, but i just moved (with out my jack) and it's raining out here on long island.. you or anyone else know the mph>rpm way of finding out?
 
The problem is that the speedos and tachs on the cars are notoriously inaccurate. Besides that, if someone has changed the gear ratio (do you know the entire history of the car since new?) and didn't correct the speedo, then it's really inaccurate. Wait til the rain stops, borrow a jack and count turns. It's the only way to be certain. 2 3/4 = 2.73's A little past 3 = 3.08's 3 1/4 = 3.27 3 1/2 = 3.55, etc. etc.
