Didnt someone post a link a while back that had the Mark VIII fans for $80 brand new? I remember someone saying something like that in a older thread. Anyone know anything about it?

electric cooling fan

does anyone have a flexalite model #210 dual slimline cooling fan??? how does it fit? i just bought one and flex a lite said they work well with supercharged mustangs, but it overlaps the radiator tanks. so it doesn't want to sit flush on the core. any help would be appreciated. thanks jason 89 gt

L8 MUSL how much custom work did you have to do, to bolt that electric fan on I really like it and the price is better than $209.95 at summit. I just don't like to cut or drill a lot on my car

There is some minor trimming to be done to the fan shroud it's self, not to your car. If you have a blower with an aditional belt you will need to move the radiator/fan set up more forward (at least I did) otherwise it shouldn't be a problem at all.
As far as the alternator, it can be bought from Summit.
Look for Powermaster 140 amp race alternator.
Very simple 1 wire hook up.

Michael Yount once did the math on the additional HP requirement of a 3G versus stock alternator. negligible. search his posts if you want to see the mumbo jumbo numbers. it was a couple months ago.
