Im trying to get my car ready to be driven regularily and the first thing to be fixed is the driver side floor pan. I pulled up the carpet to find 2 cracks about 3 inches long in the floor pan along with some of the floor pan actually pulling off the part where it attaches to the frame rail. Dont have the know how/energy to replace the entire floor pan plus its in pretty good shape besides the small cracks. My question is whats the best way to fix it? Ive never welding before but was thinking about buying a smaller mig welder (crappy tire Mig Pak 10) and teaching myself until i have the ability to do it myself. Has anyone else had this problem? Any pics of the fix? Any stories?
