Flush mount quarter louvers

Hello,

I'm considering a set of the flush mount quarter window louvers that SilverHorse racing sells.

I wanted to get opinions on them from anyone who has them. Do they fit and look alright as advertised? Did you have SilverHorse paint them or would it be a better match to have a dealer do it? Did you install them yourself?

Any other opinions?

Thanks,
Kevin

They are great louvers, probably the best out on the market. Personally, since my dealer has a horrible body shop and there are few people around here that can paint, I'd let them do it. The paint will be great.

I put them on my car about 2 months ago. They are awsome and you can actually see out of them. Install was easy. I had them pre-painted and they are a tad bit darker than my car but great quality. Not so much that I redid them but it is noticable to me but not to many others. Maybe I'm just a little picky. Highly recommend them as oppossed to windo scoops. I looked into both options and I didn't like not being able to see out when backing up out of a parking space.

Definitely get them pre-painted. They're difficult to mask. The paint shop SHR uses is great. If you see any difference in paint color, it's probably due to the different materials. Plastic and metal take paint differently. But I can't notice any difference.

I highly recommend them. Fit is perfect. SHR puts out the finest quality parts there are for our cars.

Have them on my 09 dark green bullitt . Great fit great color match. Let SHR paint em for you just give your paint code .I had a local glass shop do install for me cost $ 165.00.

I love mine. I didn't install them, I had my mod shop do them.

They, along with my new hood and bumper, were painted to match based on my fuel door. We sent the body shop the fuel door and they matched it.

The fit appears perfect, but my shop didn't do a perfect job on the install. My driver side louver isn't perfectly flush. But I'm a perfectionist.

And I had to take it back twice to get them to stop leaking. Taking it through a car wash revealed some light leaking. But it's weather sealed now.
