Pardon the interruotion..for Marcus. Old school stuff. Boss 302, Original C8 VIN stamped Trans Am program block. Siamese bore. Ordered by a retiring Ford Exec in late '68. A couple of other non avail to public items. Rim blow wheel, 8 inch wide rear tires...hood pins. he swithched out the shifter for a hurst. Removed the smog and rev limiter and boxed them up for posterity. 3:91 gears. No slats, no shaker...no BS. Just go!

46,000 miles. Next to a modern Saleen, it is slow, but what fun to drive. You must roll down the windows to hear the lifters clack and the exhaust howl at 2500 RPM.

Underbody took one gallon of clear alone. Over restored but a beauty. Thanks for indulging me. Off to a cruise in tonight with my oldest. He has dibs on the S351. I'll catch up at stop lights...and buy the gas!

    Dan,

She's a beauty! Those are getting sooo hard to find. My hat's off to you. You are doing a much better job finding good ones.

I resemble that remark!!! Just because you were around when those cars were new and I wasn't, doesn't mean I don't appericate them as much as you guys do..... :( I'll take that or that ugly looking 67 in your garage or an even uglier 70 Boss 429 :D

    Boss 9's

OK. I'm ready for a flame. In my opinion.....Boss 9 cars are WAY over rated. I have driven three of them. Cold blooded...lots of stumble.....hate to even start!!!! Love to rev...but in most conditions....I would choose...( and I have done so!) many other Mustangs first. Yet, they are a legend. Go figure.

Lastly, i have had the displeasure of working on one. My hands were hamburger! And, heaven forbid you ever breal a rocker. Yep, it happenend. It was like buying a spare rocket for a backyard space shuttle project. A Pro wrester bought the car....sold it pretty quickly I was told.

nice looking ride, nothing revs like a boss....

Makes me miss my 66 Coupe that I parted with in July, only difference is that my Coupe next the Saleen, well lets just say the Saleen would be getting a good look at where it got it's tailight design from.......if the road was straight..........and it had the slicks on........at the strip where it could hook.......
