Ford Aluminum Heads

Did Ford ever put an aluminum head on any of its small-blocks from factory?
I have a buddy who wants to save some weight and is looking for a cheaper way to get aluminum heads. Performance isn't the big issue, but it would be an added bonus.
I've heard of GT40P/X/Y but I've never done any research into stock aluminum heads for Fords. So I don't even know if those are aluminum units.

If performance isn't an issue, then there's no point in doing a head swap. Ford never offered aluminum heads from the factory on a sbf. The best you could get were the GT-40's and GT-40P's, which were both iron. FRPP makes the GT-40X's and Y's, which are aluminum.
