I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before or not....but I'd love to get my hands on the ford GT seats for my ponycar. Any one know if they are available somewhere? :D

  2. Sure...there's some on ebay right now.

    :jester:

  3. hmn..... got a link? I couldnt find 'em.

  4. :jester: = Joking

I dont think they are available yet.....but I´m sure they will next year :nice:

  5. holy, lol Ima dork. I was furiously searching ebay. :rlaugh:

  6. Ya im sure they arent out yet since the car isnt even out yet.

  7. Hmmm man, I dunno. I think those Ford GT seats are pretty Fugly myself:rolleyes:

  8. whats with the metallic donuts? if those are aluminum, those look unconfortable

    mmmm donuts

  9. Nice Homer Simpson allusion. :D

Those "metallic donuts" are slightly modernized styling elements that pay homage to the metal grommets that were found on the original GT40 seats. The originals probably served some purpose, such as ventilation, whereas the new grommets really only exist to satisfy GT40 buffs.

I'd hate to sit on those grommets after the car has been sitting in the sun for any length of time. But then again, what do I care? I'll never be able to afford a GT. :bang:

  10. if its metal....dont get one if u live in the SUNSHINE STATES...

heat + metal = funny burn on your legs

  11. Sorry 'bout that...I thought *you* were kidding, so I couldn't resist. :D

  12. LMAo.

That thing on the seat part looks REAL uncomfortable to my butt. LMao

  13. It would look like an octopus got ahold of you after a long trip.

  14. I guess the idea is that you sit totally back into the seat...otherwise, the seat part w/o the grommets doesn't look large enough; you'd be half on them, half off. The ones on the seat backs look esp. uncomfortable... Ouch.

  15. What are you talking about? That raised square is the hemorrhoid warmer with the optional "thermo-doughnut" heat rings. Since 80% of the people that own GTs will be over 60, they were thinking ahead. :nice:

  16. Hmmm.....

The entire car costs $125K+, the seats will probably cost as much as your stang :rlaugh:

  17. maybe they are a/c vents and it keeps your ass from sticking to the seats :)
