I recently just installed a T5 out of a 4cyl foxbody in my 94 GT Vert. My car was previously an AODE.
I finally finished the swap today, and hopped in, started it up [with the car in neutral] and hear this tapping sound, like it's a bad rod or something. Thing is, when I pull in the clutch, the knocking lightens or isn't heard at all.
I took the car for a test run [About a mile] just to see if it was an issue with all the gears. No matter what gear I was in [including reverse and neutral] the tapping can be heard. It can also be felt in the shifter.
Any ideas?!
