front lower control arms(a-arms)

my ball joints are worn out. i called the dealer and they told me that i have to buy the whole lower control arm. priced at 670.00 dollars for new ones. I DONT THINK SO! i've located an 88 4 cylinder mustang, will these work on an87 GT? everything looks the same but i'm told they don't interchange.

probably less heavy duty.

you can replace just the u joints, dont let them tell you different. just do a search on ball joint press or ball joint service and youll get the info you need

Yep - 3075 arms are under 200 bucks brand new - they are a great deal IMHO. Check Summit, Jegs, etc.

You can replace the ball joint alone or get new arms (both sides for under 200 beans - a good deal IMHO if you need BJ's and bushings on both sides).

If you do just a BJ, rent/loan out a Ball joint pressing tool (looks like a Big C-clamp with some adapters).
