Hello all,
For a while the car sat. Couldn't start her up, and didn't understand why. Put fuel treatment and octane booster in the gas tank and after nothing, learned that I had "wet" spark plugs. Took them out and cleaned them. Fired up immediately.
*on a side-note, was going down the road and guy behind me flagged me down and said I had fuel rolling out the exhaust pipes, a lot of it. I turned down the fuel-pressure regulator just a bit.
Car has been running ok now but sometimes when I mash on the gas pedal and go full throttle the car doesn't immediately respond, and lags a bit, like choking. Its almost like I am flooding it out, OR NOT ENOUGH fuel is going into the motor.
I have always used 93' Octane.
When I take the car out of gear and rev the motor it sounds fine and motor response to throttle pressure is fine - which makes NO sense to me whatsoever.
Anyone have any ideas as to what is going on here?
Bill
