Fuel Pressure Adjusting

Hi I have an 89 5.0 I was wondering what my fuel pressure should be at idle and various rpms.

I have afr heads, rpm II intake, ecam ,24lbs injectors 75mm maf, and tb. Shorty headers.

I have mine set at 40 at idle on my aeromotive adjustable fpr if that helps

It's generally acceptable to have the fuel pressure set between 38-42psi with the vacuum line "off". It should read approximately the same at all RPM. If you're stabbing the pedal hard and it's dipping far below the recommended levels and is unable to, or having trouble recovering, you may have a weak, or undersized fuel pump.

The stock fuel pump is only rated at 88lph and will often become inadequate when big horsepower mods are performed.

Sorry....yes, you are correct. Vacuum line off and plugged. A misstype on my part.

Thanks, I think my BBK FPR was bad when I pulled it there was fuel in my vacuum line and when I put a stock one on I went from 15 to 20+ mpg
