I know that it is a matter of time and my 222k mile fuel pump will fail. On my way to work this morning I shut the car off and the fuel pump kept buzzing for about a minute or two. I know it is probably in desperate need of being changed.
My question is what is the difference between the 4cyl and V8 pumps. I have a 93 4 cyl tank with pump sitting in the garage and would like to use it, in my 86 GT, if it is interchangeable. I will upgrade to a better pump someday should I decide to rework my daily driver. Thanks
