I am in the process of removing the tank to replace the fuel pump. I have removed the fuel lines and filter however I am stuck on removing the return line from the body. I look at the connector but cant find a clip or anything to release the line. Do I drop the tank and remove the return from the tank itself or do I continue to try to remove the line from the chassis?

Any help and advice of any tools I will need would be great. I have removed a carbed version but this is my 1st EFI tank.

You should be able to drop the tank with all the lines connected, I did, and iirc 2 of the lines do have clips on them, one of them was pretty easy to get but the other was hard.

are you tryin to undo the lines forward of the tank with the tank still installed? If so, dont do that. its really easy to just drop the tank with the lines still attached and undo them at the pump. they are disposable clips. If you have problems just jank em apart with needle nose. The pump comes with new clips.

Ill drop the take this Wednesday and see ifr this is the case. I have already removed the fuel filter so one line is already removed. I will see that happens this Wednesday.

    Thanks
